Again, like I asked in the last news post, I would like to know if you guys have any suggestions for other art sharing platforms to try and gain a following on.

I already have my eyes on Cohost at the moment...

So first of all, you can completely ignore the last news post I made, as I was being pretentious about artwork scores, and I am NOT posting to Instagram because of their AI situation.

I will instead be posting to Cara. Though I haven't set up the account on that site yet, eventually I'll make another news post saying that it's ready. I'm basically just making this news post on my school laptop because I wanted to make this news post yesterday but had to go to sleep.

So with that being said, I wanna know if there's any other websites for artists like me that you'd suggest I branch out to.

STEP RIGHT UP, STEP RIGHT UP TO THE FIRST ANNUAL NEWGROUNDS MOVIE THEATER COLLAB!

In this collab you will have the chance to draw your OC into the seats of a Newgrounds themed Movie Theater (made by cheesycoke), which will be posted to the art forum for everyone to see!

How this will work:

You will get to choose which seat you'll be in by announcing it within this forum post. The first one to claim a seat will be chosen for it, so don't hesitate choosing a seat. cheesycoke, Deedge64, and I will be taking the first person who claimed a seat, and we'll be putting them into a google doc for us to keep track of.

The deadline to enter this collab is decided by when all the seats are taken. After that, we will update this post to include a file of the PNGs of the rows of seats for you to use. You will have about 2 weeks finish the drawing of your OC, before we will rap up the collab with a finished artwork will all of your OC's enjoying the movie!

Here are the rules:

1 - You must be a scouted artist to join.

2 - You may only claim one seat for the collab, and must display the OC you'll be using for that seat. If you have 2 OC's that you wish to draw, then you may draw them in the same seat. There are slots made for larger OC's you wish to include in the collab.

3 - Later when you finish your drawing, you must display the drawing you made here alongside the seat you claimed. If your OC goes over onto other seats, then we will have to ask you to redraw your OC so that it fits in the seat that you claimed.

The three of us are super excited to see the everyone's OC's for this collab. We truly encourage you all to share and discuss your OC's with each other, as all of you are very talented and colorful people! the reason I make this post is because up until this point we have only known each other for the art that we make for each other. What I want to do is have us become genuine friends and get to know each other.

Sooo it's been a bit since my last post, I admit. I just want to say that I'm still alive, I've just gotten busier than usual. What with having an online college class now alongside my dishwashing job and all that.

I wanna try making art of my own OC's from now on, as I think I have a few good ideas up my sleeve for what I wanna make. Of course take anything that I say with a grain of salt, as I have a life outside of the internet now of course. Really, now that I'm getting busier and thus more attached to reality, for a moment I even contemplated changing my OC. But only time will tell if I really do make that decision.

Either way, I hope you guys are doing well, and I'll see you guys next time.
