Art style question.

Art style question.

I wanna know what art style you guys like better. This will determine the style that I will go for from now on.

Should I go for the cinematic analog 70's/80's one?

Or the 90's CEL animated one?

The cinematic 70's/80's style I really enjoy the aesthetic of and is easier to make than the 90's CEL style. The 90's CEL art, however, is more satisfying to complete, and I have more freedom to determine the details of the line art.

I've thought about trying to somehow merge the two styles together even, but for now I need you guys to let me know which one of these I should stick to. Thank you!

The 90’s OVA cel shade, in my personal opinion. I dunno, maybe I just have a soft spot for it.

I really like both styles. The character pops out against the background in the 70's/80's cinematic analog style which is really nice, but the 90's CEL art also fits your characters and are a treat to look at.
I say stick with 90's CEL art, as you know how to nail it down. Maybe sometimes you can also try to mix them together as you say, because it does allow for some creative decisions and it can make for really satisfying visuals when done right.

I would go the 90s CEL art. The 70/80s style feels like it should for like an analog horror video, and the 90s style feels more fitting for the characters or general pics.
