As you can see, Rob the Blob by himself stands as an excellent example of how not to design an Original Character. Rob knows this of course. He knows that he's ugly and boring and inelegant, and no matter how many times he asks people who are offering to draw other people's OC's to draw himself, he get's ignored every single time. Sometimes even outright rejected. . . .

Well now I say it's time to make a change, time for all of us to make a change. Let's show this humble little creature how fair and welcoming the Newgrounds community is by making the best artwork we can possibly make of him! Use your unique and impressive art style to make him shine, and draw him doing something exciting and cool like fighting off a dragon as a brave and noble knight, or defusing a bomb as a cool action hero just seconds before it blows up, or even saving the day as a marvelous super hero!

Use your imagination and your talent to bring this fella to life, and when your done with your artwork make sure that when you post it to Newgrounds you upload it with the tag: #Rob-the-Blob. Show the world that we as Newgrounds care about all of the small artists of the internet, by showing how much we care for and love Rob the Blob!

Rules:

1. You must be a scouted artist to join in on this collab, I'd prefer to have as many popular and talented artists working on this as possible.
2. No making artwork of Rob the Blob that depicts him committing harmful or controversial actions, he's not a villain or antagonist, he's just a humble little blob who wants joy for all. People who make vulgar depictions of Rob the Blob will not be accepted.
3. You're encouraged to upload your artwork of Rob on Newgrounds, and with the tag: #Rob-the-Blob. This is to make the amount of artworks made for the collab easier to track.

Attention: There is no deadline for this collab. However eventually I will end up making a video showcasing all of the artworks people have made for the Rob the Blob collab. I will eventually start making this video at the first day of June. So first of all, you can completely ignore the last news post I made, as I was being pretentious about artwork scores, and I am NOT posting to Instagram because of their AI situation.

I will instead be posting to Cara. Though I haven't set up the account on that site yet, eventually I'll make another news post saying that it's ready. I'm basically just making this news post on my school laptop because I wanted to make this news post yesterday but had to go to sleep.

STEP RIGHT UP, STEP RIGHT UP TO THE FIRST ANNUAL NEWGROUNDS MOVIE THEATER COLLAB!

In this collab you will have the chance to draw your OC into the seats of a Newgrounds themed Movie Theater (made by cheesycoke), which will be posted to the art forum for everyone to see!

How this will work:

You will get to choose which seat you'll be in by announcing it within this forum post. The first one to claim a seat will be chosen for it, so don't hesitate choosing a seat. cheesycoke, Deedge64, and I will be taking the first person who claimed a seat, and we'll be putting them into a google doc for us to keep track of.

The deadline to enter this collab is decided by when all the seats are taken. After that, we will update this post to include a file of the PNGs of the rows of seats for you to use. You will have about 2 weeks finish the drawing of your OC, before we will rap up the collab with a finished artwork will all of your OC's enjoying the movie!

Here are the rules:

1 - You must be a scouted artist to join.

2 - You may only claim one seat for the collab, and must display the OC you'll be using for that seat. If you have 2 OC's that you wish to draw, then you may draw them in the same seat. There are slots made for larger OC's you wish to include in the collab.

3 - Later when you finish your drawing, you must display the drawing you made here alongside the seat you claimed. If your OC goes over onto other seats, then we will have to ask you to redraw your OC so that it fits in the seat that you claimed.

The three of us are super excited to see the everyone's OC's for this collab. We truly encourage you all to share and discuss your OC's with each other, as all of you are very talented and colorful people! the reason I make this post is because up until this point we have only known each other for the art that we make for each other. What I want to do is have us become genuine friends and get to know each other.
